Mission Statement

The mission of Carter Christian Academy is to provide a secure, Christ-Centered environment in which students will have the opportunity to acquire a personal knowledge of God, develop Christian character, and achieve academic excellence.

Vision Statement

The vision of Carter Christian Academy is to produce student leaders who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrate Godly character and stewardship, and impact their world through Biblical thought and action in obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). Through Christ-centered academic excellence that is an extension of the Christian home, CCA is devoted to instilling a lifelong enthusiasm for learning, leading and serving.

CCA is accredited through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools, International).

Course of Study:    CCA is a private Christian school offering classes to all students in Bible, fine arts, language arts, math, science, and social studies. CCA is philosophically based on the foundations of Christian education. CCA instructs students from preschool (age 2) through grade 12.

Standards:   CCA, at minimum, follows the Kentucky State Standards. We set high expectations for our students.  We believe that if it's Christian, it should be better.

Basic Educational Goals:

To give God the Glory in all things (I Corinthians 10:31)

To develop an understanding that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and our Savior (Ephesians 1: 17-18)

To teach the fundamentals of arts, Bible, language arts, math, science, and social studies (Colossians 1:16)

To equip students with the ability to communicate clearly, logically, and effectively through reading, writing, speaking, and listening (Luke 4:16)

To encourage creativity and curiosity (Proverbs 22:6)

To help students realize their capabilities and how to make the most of them toward growth and service (Luke 2:52)

To provide a safe and secure school environment that will be conducive to learning and moral, joyful living (Proverbs 4:1-13)

Meetings are held every month during the school year. A Board member chairs the committee with an elected three (3) members that serve on the club: President (Board Chair), Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Current Support:   CCA is tuition and gift driven. CCA receives support in the following ways:

· Donors (Projects, general fund, tuition support, classroom supplies, gifts in kind)

· Volunteers (Driving, projects, workers, aides, etc.)

CCA seeks to keep our tuition affordable for our families.  Currently less than seventy percent of our budget is covered by tuition payments.  CCA is dependent upon support from area churches and individuals for thirty percent of our monthly budget needs.
