Program of Activities and Curriculum
Curriculum: A Beka Book—comprehensive, quality curriculum and materials written from a Christian perspective. Now more than ever, each child needs a strong foundation in both academics and character; this curriculum gives students the knowledge and skills they need.
Two and Three Year Olds: (3years old by August 1st or by placement testing)
This program level is designed to prepare your child for social interactions with his or her peers using learning centers and hands-on experiences. Units of study will involve numbers, letters of the alphabet, shapes, colors, Bible stories, songs, play time, memory verses, Children will also enjoy units of study prepared by the Teacher on holidays, health, manners, and safety.
Four Year Olds: (4 years old by August 1st or by placement testing)
This program level is designed to build upon the skills acquired at the three year old level. Units of study will incorporate music, art, science, story time, cooking, health and safety, and hands on learning experiences. We also concentrate on learning sound recognition and writing the alphabet. Children will learn numbers, sequencing, colors, and shapes. In addition, Bible stories and songs will be taught. This program is devised to teach your child positive values and genuine self-worth and to prepare your son or daughter for a confident and successful kindergarten experience.

7:45 am – 3:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday (2 days per week option)
7:15 am- 5:30pm Tuesday and Thursday ( 2 days extended day option)
7:15 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday (5 days extended day option)
4 year old program-
7:45 am – 3:00 pm Monday and Wednesday (2 days per week option)
7:15 am - 5:30pm Monday and Wednesday (2 days extended day option)
7:45 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Thursday (4 days per week option)
7:15 am- 5:30 pm Monday-Thursday (4 days extended day option)

All students of the program and their families are invited to our Wee Warriors Open House the week before the school year begins. Students will meet their teacher, see their classroom, meet their new classmates, and explore their new school. Students begin the school year with ease, knowing exactly what school will be like. This is a great time to bring all supplies in to keep the first day of school as smooth of a transition as possible.
Students will participate in organized celebration days such as: Grandparent’s Chapel, Move-a-thon, Christmas celebration, 100th day, Book Fair week, Spirit Week, Easter celebration, Field Day.
Wee Warriors Early Learning Center follows the same school calendar as Carter Christian Academy. When Carter Christian Academy has a cancellation, this also means Wee Warriors Early Learning Center is cancelled. School cancellations and early dismissal s are posted as Carter Christian Academy through several news and social media sites including: WSAZ, WUGO/WGOH, Facebook, One Call (phone calling system). It is a requirement that a current, working number must be kept on file in the Administration office at all times.
The tuition may be paid on an annual, semi-annual, or monthly basis. Unless another option is selected, the first payment shall be due on the first day of August and the last payment shall be due on the first day of May. Payments received after the 5th of the month will be assessed a late fee of $25.00.

Registration Forms are to be filled out completely be a parent or guardian and turned into the office. At the time of enrollment, the following must also be presented:
Kentucky Immunization Certificate
Medical, Vision, and Dental Exam (4 year olds only)
Official Birth Certificate (or proof of guardianship)
Social Security Card
Other information required for our files include a Medical History, Personal History, Emergency Medical Permission Form, Playground waiver, Parent Pledge of Acceptance, and Media Consent Form. All forms must be returned to the Director one week prior to the first day of admission, earlier if possible.
We must have on file at all times an up to date phone number and place where the parents may be reached. Sometimes a child becomes sick and/or upset and a parent must be contacted as soon as possible. If someone other than a parent will come for your child, the person’s name must be given to the center in writing. A child will not be released to anyone other than parents or guardian without written permission, or a phone call to the Director in the case of an emergency.
